After completing her musical studies, Fiona worked in Asia for over five years for one of the region’s largest communication companies, where she was responsible for professional development strategies that included employee evaluation, quality control programs and the administration and creation of training programs. Since then she has worked across various communications and operations management roles, partnering with executives in human resource disciplines including recruitment & selection and learning & development.
Fiona now teaches piano at her local primary school as well as in a successful private studio.
Over the years, she has been a member of The Scots’ Church Choir, The British Embassy Choir in Tokyo and the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Fiona is very excited to bring her mix of business and music experience to the VMTA Board to help support, facilitate and promote excellence in music teaching.
