Music and the Teacher magazine is the half-yearly publication of the Victorian Music Teachers' Association. It is published as a digital and print version in full colour throughout. The magazine is distributed to over 800 readers including instrumental music teachers working in their own studio and in schools, school music department heads and staff, affiliated organisations and libraries. School members receive 2 hard copies to share among their staff. Choose an eNotice OR a Display Advertisement. The cost is the same.

eNotice

Up to 150 words of plain text including contact details and URL link to another website, plus 1 image (e.g. logo or photo).

Specifications:

  • Text to be submitted as plain text in a word document
  • Image to be submitted as a high res jpeg or png file

Display Advertisement

Display advertisement in eNews with click through link to another website

Specifications (recommended):

  • File type: jpeg/png at least 600pixels wide (preferably 1200 px wide)
  • Small Ad: 1200px Wide x 600px High (2:1 width to height ratio)
  • Medium Ad (Square): 1200px W x 1200px H (1:1)
  • Large Ad: 1200px W x 1700px H

eNews Distribution

Distributed to approximately 800 readers including instrumental music teachers working in their own studio and in schools, school music department heads and staff, and affiliated organisations.

Timeline

The monthly eNews is usually published at the start of the school year, and then around the middle of each month from Feb-Dec, with material required one week prior to distribution. Exact dates vary. Please contact the office for more information regarding distribution.

All online advertising subject to VMTA Council approval. Prices include GST.

Publication Subscription

Annual publication subscription includes the monthly eNews and event updates.
