Please join us for two intensive days of professional learning to be held towards the end of the Term 3 school holidays. Day 1 will be of benefit to piano teachers, and on Day 2 will offer a range of topics for teachers of any instrument or voice. One and two day bookings are available at member, non-member and student rates.

AMEB Piano for Leisure Series 4
An in-depth preview of the new Piano for Leisure Series
Presented by Tim Topham, Julie Spithill, Caroline Almonte and Glenn Riddle
A new Piano for Leisure series is due to be released towards the end of this year. Day 1 of the workshop will provide piano teachers with the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the new series. Piano for Leisure Series 4 will feature grade books, handbooks and recordings from Preliminary to Grade 8 and will be an additional resource for teachers using the existing AMEB Piano for Leisure syllabus.
Throughout the day, leading piano pedagogy experts Tim Topham, Julie Spithill, Caroline Almonte and Glenn Riddle will explore each book in the series. Teachers will be able to view the material prior to publication release and will be taken through the key elements in each book. AMEB staff will be available on the day to answer questions, and workshop attendees will be able to pre-order series publications at a minimum 10% discount off the normal price.

Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch will be provided. Gluten free, non-dairy and vegetarian options are available. Please indicate any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Non-members who apply and pay for their membership prior to booking may receive the member rate in advance of their membership being formally approved. To apply, please contact the office.
A member of a state-based MTA or the GMTA may book at the member rate as part of a reciprocal arrangement.
Registration and Venue Directions:
Registration is from 9.00-9.25 am in the Boyd Egan Hall (enter on Lansell Road). Most of the sessions will be held in the adjacent McMahon Music Centre and the Boyd Egan Hall will be used for registration, meal breaks, trade displays and some sessions. There is onsite visitor parking, and 2 hour street parking on Lansell Road. The school is 2 mins walk from Heyington train station.
