Description

Singing is an artistic and athletic endeavor that has the potential to communicate much of our human experience through song, opera, and chorus. But in order to fully communicate, we need to find the optimal functioning and alignment of the physical body.

This session will focus on teaching proactive strategies for the singing athlete. These strategies will provide singers and teachers with knowledge beyond what they receive in the applied lesson studio, so they can take charge of their overall instrument in the practice room and on the performance stage.

You will learn about yoga sequences, myofascial release, meditation, and wellness information, in order to cultivate awareness in the well-aligned physical body to produce optimum sound.

There will be a Q&A session towards the end of the webinar, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions. After you have watched the webinar, you will be able to download a PD certificate, and you will be sent a link to the recording.
