Beginner steps lay crucial foundations in establishing a healthy relationship with the cello. In her second String Pedagogy webinar, Diana Wuli will present a step-by-step practical guide to setting up a beginner cellist. The method mirrors the violin methodology in stringpedagogy.com and is developed under the guidance of Mimi Zweig (USA).
Diana’s beginner cello set-up method will take you through 7 different steps, from Pre-Cello to First Pieces. The webinar will discuss setting up the cello, the bow arm and the left hand, and provide a brief overview of different beginner cello methodologies and resources.
There will be a Q&A during the last part of the webinar, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions. After you have watched the webinar, you will be able to access a PD certificate, and you will be sent a link to the recording.
This webinar is suitable for string teachers wanting to know more about setting up beginner cellists.
